All questions and answersHow does the fresh donkey milk reach me?
Frozen. We ship fresh donkey milk with GO! Express in insulated boxes with dry ice or ice packs. In Germany and Austria it usually reaches you 24 hours after dispatch, in Switzerland after 24–48 hours. Shipping is free from €99 order value to Germany or €139 to Austria (so from 1 litre). We ship on Mondays and Wednesdays.
How long does the fresh donkey milk keep?
Frozen: best-before date see label. After thawing, keep it in the fridge and use it within 3 days.
How do I thaw the donkey milk?
Slowly overnight in the fridge. Shake briefly before drinking. Please follow the information on the label.
How do I prepare the donkey milk powder?
Stir 10 g of powder into 100 ml of water and leave it to stand for 1 to 2 minutes. This makes 100 ml of donkey milk. Once mixed, it keeps refrigerated for 2 to 3 days.
How long does the powder keep?
Store dry and protected from light. Shelf life 12 months (best-before date on the pack). Refrigeration is not necessary.
Does donkey milk contain lactose?
Yes. Donkey milk is not lactose-free. With about 6 to 7 g per 100 ml, it contains slightly more milk sugar than cow’s milk.
