Notes for the family kitchen
Donkey milk is a food containing milk protein and lactose. For children, this recipe is suitable just like any other semolina porridge. Donkey milk is not a substitute for breast milk or infant formula. Honey is not suitable for children under one year of age. If you have any questions about your child's nutrition, please contact your pediatrician.
Frequently asked questions
Will the porridge made with donkey milk be as creamy as porridge made with cow's milk?
Slightly less so, because donkey milk contains less fat. A small piece of butter or a splash of cream will compensate for this.
Can I also use powder?
Yes: dissolve 20 g of donkey milk powder in 180 ml of water and use it instead of fresh donkey milk.
